Big Four Japanese firm Nishimura & Asahi’s Singapore office has entered into a strategic alliance with Malaysian law firm, WM Leong & Co, which was established in Kuala Lumpur by Nishimura lawyer, Wan May Leong.
Admitted in Malaysia, Leong joined the Tokyo-based firm in Singapore as a registered foreign counsel in 2018. She later established WM Leong & Co, enabling Nishimura to forge an alliance with a domestic practice in Malaysia. Leong is now listed as an associate office partner at the Tokyo-based firm.
