Simpson Thacher & Bartlett’s London office revenue grew more than 13% in 2022, hitting $378 million, marking another year of expansion for the U.S. firm’s U.K. base.
The growth is subdued, however, compared to the firm’s bumper 2021 growth of 43%, which led to revenues rocketing from $232 million to $333 million in the London base. Commenting on the growth, London managing partner, Jason Glover said: “To have grown revenue by more than 13% from $334 million to $378 million in 2022 is testament to the continued success of our clients, for whom we are delighted to have provided support, as well as the contribution of our recent strategic initiatives, and in particular our regulatory, restructuring, tax and antitrust offerings. In that respect we are cautiously optimistic for further growth in 2023.”
