A series of departures from the Pepper Hamilton half of Troutman Pepper Hamilton Sanders’ offices—most recently the exit of three health sciences leaders for Goodwin Procter—are raising questions about the post-merger integration success of the 2020-formed Am Law 50 firm.
Philadelphia-based Pepper Hamilton, the smaller of the two firms, was best known for its health sciences practice before the merger and attracted the attention of Troutman Sanders on its prominence, people formerly affiliated with the firm said, speaking on the condition of anonymity. However, that flagship department has suffered several departures over the last 12 months.
