It was one of the earliest cases of a U.S. citizen contracting COVID-19 in January 2020 that would cause Philadelphia-area personal injury firm leader Jon Ostroff to expedite his exit from the profession.
Until his near-death experience with the respiratory virus that left him with lingering “brain fog,” Ostroff said he planned to wait until turning 65 to step away from active firm management and pass on ownership to his managing partner, the 62-year-old said this week in an interview.
