Just two solicitors are among 29 Deputy High Court Judge appointments announced this week, marking one of the lowest proportions in recent years.
The England and Wales appointments by the Judicial Appointments Commission (JAC) were dominated by barristers and marked the lowest number of solicitors on the list compared with other recent years for which there is data available.
