Macfarlanes has hired a Sidley Austin funds partner in London, in a reversal of the common market trend of U.S. firms picking up U.K. talent.
Stephen Ross leaves Sidley Austin after almost a decade at the U.S. headquartered firm, during which time he spent a period as London investment funds head.
