Shearman’s EMEA, Asia M&A Head Quits for Sidley Austin

Another Shearman & Sterling partner has quit the firm amid its merger talks with Hogan Lovells. 

London-based EMEA and Asia M&A head Phil Cheveley is leaving to join Sidley Austin’s U.K. office, according to three people with knowledge of the move.
